Our Story

ACLAS Global International Education Group was founded with a simple belief: that a high-quality, internationally recognised qualification should not require relocating to another country or putting your life on hold.

ACLAS Global International Education Group partners with OTHM Qualifications - a UK-regulated awarding organisation recognised by Ofqual - to deliver diploma programmes from Level 3 (foundation) to Level 7 (postgraduate).

We serve learners from the United States and around the world. All our programmes are delivered 100% online through our Moodle learning platform, supported by qualified Tutors and Assessors. Our learners study at their own pace, from home, while balancing work, family, and other commitments.

Staff English Language Competence

All OTHM qualifications are delivered, assessed, and quality-assured in English. ACLAS Global ensures that all staff involved in the delivery, assessment, or internal quality assurance of OTHM qualifications possess the necessary English language skills to:

Understand and accurately apply OTHM assessment criteria
Mark assessments and differentiate learner performance
Provide clear, constructive written feedback to learners
Understand and act on feedback from OTHM and the External Quality Assurer
Communicate effectively with OTHM in all correspondence, meetings, and quality assurance activities

English language competence is assessed during recruitment and monitored through ongoing quality assurance activities. The Centre does not rely on interpreters or translation services for any communication with OTHM or for the assessment of learner work.

Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) - Every assessment decision is sampled by our Lead IQA to ensure consistency and fairness.

External Quality Assurance (EQA) - An OTHM-appointed EQA periodically reviews our assessment processes and samples learner work.

Annual Self-Assessment - We conduct a thorough self-review against OTHM's Centre Approval Criteria each year.

Standardisation - Our Assessors meet regularly to cross-mark work and ensure consistent grading.
