Personal Tutor Support
Every learner is assigned a named Tutor/Assessor who:
- Guides your learning journey from enrolment to certification
- Marks your assignments against published criteria
- Provides detailed written feedback within 15 working days
- Is available for one-to-one discussion via Moodle messaging, email, or scheduled video calls
Assessment and Quality Assurance
Your work goes through multiple layers of quality checking:
- Assessor marking — Your named Assessor marks your work against OTHM's published assessment criteria
- Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) — The Lead IQA samples assessment decisions to ensure consistency and fairness
- External Quality Assurance (EQA) — An OTHM-appointed External Quality Assurer periodically reviews the Centre's assessment processes
Academic Integrity
All written submissions are checked through plagiarism-detection software integrated with Moodle. Learners receive guidance on academic integrity, referencing, and proper use of AI tools during induction. Suspected malpractice is handled under our published Malpractice and Plagiarism Policy.

Recognition
OTHM qualifications are regulated by Ofqual and listed on the UK Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF). Your certificate is identical to that issued to learners at any OTHM-approved centre worldwide.
As a candidate centre preparing for OTHM approval, we are building our learner community. We look forward to sharing authentic learner experiences once our first cohort has completed their programmes.
